NL#48, March-April 2005

This newsletter announced that the 2005 Annual Reunion would be held in Plymouth, Massachusettts, on June 16 to June 18 and provided details and registration information. Also discussed were places of interest to visit in the local area. Announcement was made of the formation of the Henry Sampson Family Association. Henry was 16 years old when he crossed the Atlantic on the Mayflower, and he is one of the 26 male passengers known to have living descendants. Results of the 2004 Annual Questionnaire were presented in this newsletter as were announcements of Web site updates. A discussion regarding what appear to be some original de Lannoy documents dating from 1602 to 1876 and concerning the Motterie and Clervaux lines as delineated by Mortimer Delano in Book I of the GHAAHD followed. Mention was made as well of Captain Henry Delano, who was featured in an article by Muriel Cushing and George English in the December 2004 issue of the Mayflower Quarterly.
